Onward and Upward!!!

Well, I have been a bad socialite and have neglected all of my fans. You see, things have been busy with my world tour, book signings, late nite television show appearances, and now the Nobel prize. Stockholm was surprisingly comfortable this time of year.  I know I should not have neglected you, and for that I apologize....or at least that is what I was told to say.

Seriously, I have been taking my duties of big sister very seriously. Maybe one day, baby sister Rory will have a blog like me too. Until then, I will do the best I can to keep you posted on how both of use are doing.....you see that's what big sisters are supposed to do.....share

.

Mommy and Daddy like when I take care of Rory.  I help feeding her and it is 'MY' job to get the pacifier when Rory starts to cry.

I like being a big sister so much, I never take off my 'Big Sister shirt', even when it is dirty. Mommy and Daddy don't like me wearing dirty clothes. Too bad, because I'm the Big Sister.

There are so many little things I do and say every day that make Mommy and Daddy laugh....sometimes even baby sister too. Because I am trying to keep up with the Joneses (I have no idea who the Jones family is, but everyone keeps talking about them....maybe they are our new neighbors) and have fallen behind on my blog-o-sphere, I made a uni-lat-uh-rul (wow, what a mouthful) decision to expand my world through the little blue birdy.

You can talk to me too:

Baby Sister!!!

I am now a big sister!! My baby sister, Aurora was born last week. Mommy and Daddy kept telling me that a baby sister was coming, but I was not exactly sure what they meant. Mommy let me touch her big tummy, and I felt something in there. I don't know how baby sister went from Mommy's tummy to outside.....my extensive polling at day care has revealed something about a big white bird, but the details are sketchy at best.  When Mommy and Daddy were in the hospital with baby sister, I got to stay at Poppy's house with Aunt Kerri, Molly, and Mackenzie. We had so much fun, it was epic. I hope I can have as much fun with baby sister when she grows up.

Swim Lessons

Today was my first 'official' swim lesson.

I was a pro because Mommy and Daddy had taken me to the pool before and pretended to teach me some things to get me ready....I already knew everything but I played along so I would not hurt their feelings.

My instructor was very nice. He let me play with toys in the pool.

I kicked on my belly and on my back. I even put my head under the water!!!!

Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me.....heck, even I was proud of me!

I had so much fun in the pool, I can't wait to go back again.

(As a matter of fact, I could not wait until next week and made Daddy take me for another swim when I got home)

I am going to swim like a fish, just like my Daddy!

Easter Time

This was my first Easter in our new house. Some nice people down the block hosted a big party for all of us kids. I got to jump in the bouncy house, look for hidden Easter eggs, and even have ice cream as a treat.

After I got my eggs and had a belly full of ice cream, I played with something called a water balloon. I like water and I like balloons, so I thought it would be the perfect combo. Boy, was I right. The other kids threw them at each other, but why would they do that?

I tried walking around with my balloon to show everyone, but then it broke and I got all wet. I was sad, but then remembered that there were more for me to play with.  So I got another one. This time, I tried to be careful.....but it broke again. And I got more wet. This is fun! I got #3, but it was the last one. A little boy tried to take it from me, but my daddy was there to protect me. Maybe he wanted a balloon too? I tried to give it to him, but it broke too. Next time, I will just play with the hose instead: same outcome, but a whole lot less effort.

Playtime at Lowes

I like going to Lowes with Daddy. He lets me have all sorts of fun.  He does not even get mad when I pull things off the shelf and he has to put them back.  I have fun running around and exploring new things.....there is so much to do there and so little time.  Daddy also took me for a ride in the shopping cart that looked like a race car. I think it was broken because every time I tried to run into something,  it would veer off at the last second. Remind me to speak to the management about this.
