Where in the world is Sophie the Giraffe?
Today Mommy, Daddy, and I went on a search and rescue mission. It appears that at some point yesterday while Mommy and I were shopping, I misplaced my Sophie. When we got home, Mommy and I were sad because we could not find Sophie. Mommy and Daddy started talking, and through POE (that's 'Process of Elimination' for those of you not down with the lingo) they thought that Sophie may have been at J-Crew.
So Daddy called the store, and Sophie was there!!!
We were so happy that she answered the phone.
We went back to the store today to pick her up. When we went to the worker people behind the desk, they knew right away who Sophie was. I think they were sad to see her go. I bet they had a good time with her yesterday.
When we got Sophie back, she told us all about her night at J-Crew....
When she realized that we left without her, she tried to find a pair of shoes that would fit so she could walk home.....but they were all too big.
After that, she said she was worried and scared, so she went over to the 'Shirt Bar' to make some friends. She said it was Happy Hour.
I was confused when she told me that, because I thought she was sad.
Mommy and Daddy said some day I will understand what Sophie was talking about.....but not for many years.
Sophie was so happy to be back with me......
And I was happy to be back with her.
It was a good day.
